Mi chiamo Giulia Forti e sono una restauratrice specializzata in dipinti murali e affreschi. La mia passione per l'arte e la storia nasce dalla convinzione che ogni parete dipinta racchiuda una storia, un pezzo di passato che merita di essere ascoltato e conservato.
Ho coltivato questa passione studiando a fondo le tecniche e i materiali antichi, e mi sono laureata in Restauro presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. È lì che ho capito che il mio compito non è semplicemente riparare, ma preservare l'anima di un'opera, rispettandone l'età e la storia.
Nel corso degli anni ho avuto l'opportunità di collaborare a progetti che mi hanno arricchito professionalmente e umanamente. Ho lavorato al restauro di un importante ciclo di affreschi del XVI secolo in un palazzo nobiliare a Verona e ho partecipato al recupero delle decorazioni pittoriche ottocentesche della Villa Reale di Milano. Non meno significativi per me sono stati gli interventi su edifici meno noti, come l'antica cascina lombarda dove, riportando alla luce decorazioni nascoste da strati di pittura, ho riscoperto la bellezza di luoghi dimenticati.
Ogni progetto è per me un'avventura, un dialogo con il passato. Il mio obiettivo è far sì che queste opere continuino a raccontare le loro storie, affinché la loro bellezza e il loro significato non vadano persi nel tempo.

My name is Giulia Forti and I am a restorer specialising in murals and frescoes. My passion for art and history stems from the belief that every painted wall contains a story, a piece of the past that deserves to be heard and preserved.
I cultivated this passion by studying ancient techniques and materials in depth and graduated in Restoration from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. It was there that I realised that my task is not simply to repair, but to preserve the soul of a work, respecting its age and history.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to collaborate on projects that have enriched me both professionally and personally. I worked on the restoration of an important cycle of 16th-century frescoes in a noble palace in Verona and participated in the restoration of the 19th-century pictorial decorations of the Villa Reale in Milan. No less significant for me have been interventions on lesser-known buildings, such as the old Lombard farmhouse where, by bringing to light decorations hidden by layers of paint, I rediscovered the beauty of forgotten places.
Each project is an adventure for me, a dialogue with the past. My goal is to ensure that these works continue to tell their stories, so that their beauty and meaning are not lost over time.
